DMC’s Nova Vita allows you to create something beautiful whilst also being eco-friendly. Nova Vita is a collection that centres around recycling textile to aid our environment, promote more sustainable alternatives, and to reuse a fabric that we can still use for years on end. This collection of tubular yarn is made from an 80% Recycled Cotton and 20% Polyester blend. The yarn is 4.00mm thick and it is a beautiful, smooth woven cord with thinner cord on the inside. This gives it more strength and, also thanks to the 20% Polyester spun into the yarn, extra durability. To create the yarn, DMC crushed, dyed and respun the fabrics to create this lovely, sustainable option for all crafters. It is more flexible and softer than traditional cord so it can be used for all kinds of creative projects like crochet, knitting or macramé. This product is Oeko-Tex certified. Each ball weighs 250 grams and is 55 metres long. Recommended hook size is 10.00-12.00mm and needle size 12.00mm. Available in 24 colours ranging from neutral, pastel or vibrant colours.

What better way to display DMC’s new Nova Vita yarn than with their own special display! This display is made of cardboard and has 6 removable trays. It measures 1.95 x 0.42 x 0.42m and it is supplied with the full range of 24 colours x 4 balls per colour. It also has 3 compartments on the side of the display: one for showcasing 10 crochet hooks of needle size 12.00 (the recommended needle size for Nova Vita yarn), and two for DMC’s Nova Vita pattern book.
